Rhythm, Rhymes & Railways Celebration Assembly at Ridgefield School

Ridgefield Primary School have engaged fully in the 'Rhythm, Rhyme, & Railways' project and we celebrated all the work of the children and teachers by sharing poems and songs, including those about the Mill Road Railway workers and the Eagle Engine built by Headleys at their engineering enterprise servicing the railways by Mill Road Bridge. We had 3 classes from KS2 present their own work, their research highlights from the project, and the class songs we co-created with the Historian Helen Weinstein and the Songwriter Dave Cohen.  There was a fantastic turn-out from parents without about 80 there to see the 90 pupils perform, ranging from grandparents to a newborn baby!!
